At the Josef Berrens bakery in Speicher in the Eifel, we bake out of tradition. We are guild bakers and confectioners with a passion and are now in the third generation. Traditional recipes, a lot of experience and the careful processing of natural, regional ingredients give our baked goods their unique taste every day. The knowledge our customers appreciate and sometimes come from far away to buy our breads, rolls, pastries, cakes and tarts.
Our repertoire includes more than forty types of bread and rolls. In addition, we can create countless different types of cakes and tarts. You can find a selection of our most popular baked goods seven days a week at two points of sale in Speicher and in our Backmobil, the rolling bakery, as we call it. If you want a special bread, a special cake or a special cake, then just talk to us.
All our baked goods are made in our own bakery with a lot of love and only with natural,
regional ingredients according to traditional craftsmanship. Stone oven, natural sourdough and flour
from the region are a matter of course for us. Flour, water, yeast, sourdough, salt is all that Real
Bread Flavor needs. OK – maybe a little butter on top…
