For the love of the craft
All of our baked goods are made in our own bakery with lots of love and only natural ingredients according to traditional craftsmanship. Stone oven, natural sourdough and flour from the region are a matter of course for us. We have pure freshness seven days a week: more than forty types of bread and rolls, and we can also create countless different types of cakes and tarts, also for festive occasions such as weddings.
A number of our recipes are real originals – from the modern photo cake to the classic, the “speicherer gnome”. The Berrens’sche Schmandkuchen has it all: visually understated, in terms of taste an aromatic sensation for the palate, typically with a pinch of cinnamon. No wonder that our American guests also take it across the “big pond”!
